Game Recap: Boston Brawlers vs Blacktips

Boston defeats Blacktips 28-10


In the non-televised game of the week, the Boston Brawlers picked up their first win of the season, defeated the Traveling Blacktips, 28-10.

Tajh Boyd was the star of this game; Boyd had 4 Touchdowns, including a 72-yard pass to Emmanuel Moody, and a 54-yard pass to Jasper Collins Jr.

Collins would score again, on a Touchdown pass from Boyd in the Fourth Quarter. Boston Tight End Kyle Auffrey also scored on a 19-yard pass from Boyd, in the Third Quarter.

With 1:59 left in the game, and Boston leading 28-10, they sealed the game with an Interception in the closing minutes of the game by Phillip Steward.

Clancy finished the game 12 of 31 for 114 passing yards, 1 Touchdown, and 1 interception. Clancy’s receivers had 9 drops.

Next week Boston welcomes the Brooklyn Bolts to Harvard Stadium on Halloween night, in what is Brooklyn’s first road game.

The Blacktips don’t play again until November 7th when they travel to Brooklyn, to face the Bolts.
